Shipping costs

Orders over $129 - Free express shipping.

Express - $19.95 (Live Plant Orders)

When do we ship?

We post orders on Monday and Tuesday. The cut off is 12 noon the Saturday prior to these days.

Any orders received after the Saturday cut off (12 noon) are to be shipped the following week.

If you would like your order sent later in the week after missing that weeks cut off, Please send us an email to discuss shipping on Wed/Thurs/Friday. We will try to accommodate sending on these days for you as best we can.

PLEASE NOTE: Choosing Express post is the postage method, it does not speed up despatch. All orders are packed in order of being received and are dispatched in turn of when the order came in.

How is the order shipped

This can vary depending on the plant ordered, some are sent in pots, others bare rooted.

Most plants in pots larger than 100mm are sent partially bare rooted in Australia Post shipping boxes. If we can leave the pot in we will, but please expect that you may receive plants with no pot sand roots carefully wrapped up for shipping.

Larger plants may have some of the leaves trimmed to fit in the box however we will usually make this known in the product description.

If you have a PO box, its recommended that you have it shipped there for safety reasons.

All orders have an 'Authority to leave' at the delivery address so if your home address is usually unattended or you live in an area where parcel theft is a problem, Please let us know so we can take additional steps to ensure a safe delivery.

Tracking

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email with the tracking details.

All orders will receive a Confirmation, Shipping Fulfilment and Tracking Email.

If you place an order and do not receive anything, it could mean that they are going to your Junk Mail Folder.

Regardless of choosing Express or Regular shipping options, all orders are packed in the order they are recieved on either the Monday or Tuesday that they are due taking in regard the cut off for each weeks postage schedule.

Where do we ship?

We ship to NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, ACT in Australia only. Strictly not WA, NT or TAS unfortunately as permitted by law. Customers in Quarantine restricted states are welcome to organise with a plant concierge service and we can send your plants to the one of your choice.

Pickup

If you would like to pick up your plants instead of having them shipped, we have partnered with Sanlay plants in Gordonvale to pick up your online order. This is to make it more convenient as we are quite far from cairns.

How

Use code 'SANLAY PICKUP' during checkout to remove shipping and to alert us you want to do a pickup.

When

We drop your orders off to Sanlay Nursery so they can be picked up. Sanlay Nursery is open for pickup:

Thursday : 9am till 4pm

Friday : 9am till 4pm

Saturday : 9am till 4pm

Sunday : 9am till 4pm

CLOSED : MONDAY/TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY

Where

Sanlay plants is located at the end of Hall Road Gordonvale. Sanlay Nursery is on Google Maps so you can just search the name to find a direct route there.

Refunds and Returns

Damage during shipping

Shipping may at times cause slight damage to plants, this is normal. If your plant arrives with anything more please send us a picture to admin@plantandleaf.com.au within 24 hours of arrival for us to assess. We may choose to resend or refund depending on the circumstances.

Incorrect Address and returned items

Once an item is shipped we are unable to change the address - Please enter the details carefully.

If a package is returned to us (for example incorrect address or not picking up etc.) we are charged return fees by the carrier. If you would like it resent you must pay the additional shipping costs plus the fees charged to us. If you do not wish to have the package resent you will be refunded minus the cost of shipping, return fee and a $10 restocking fee.

Change of Mind

We do not accept returns/refunds due to change of mind so please choose and research your purchase before submitting your order.

Missing Items

If you think something is missing when your package is delivered, please send us a photo of the inside of the box showing the plants still wrapped up within 24hrs of receiving your package. It must be emailed to admin@plantandleaf.com.au
