Iris foetidissima, commonly known as theGladwin iris, is a perennial plant known for its attractive foliage and unique orange seed pods. Here's how to keep Iris foetidissima thriving:

1. Light: Iris foetidissima grows well in partial to full shade. While it can tolerate some sunlight, especially in the morning or late afternoon, it generally prefers shaded conditions. Avoid exposing it to intense, direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

2. Soil: Plant Iris foetidissima in well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. A loamy soil with good drainage is ideal.
